Did you know there’s more to a ladybug than black spots? Ladybugs are known to bring luck, good health and prosperity to whomever possesses one. I just learned that these symbols of love and good fortune have been used for ages for celebrations such as weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. Since this creature is rumored to bring such good fortune, it would make sense to use it for decorating your front door! 🐞
This is one of my favorite wreath recipes (inspired by a design by my good friend and mentor, Julie Siomacco). It’s one of my biggest sellers and I use it for every season and holiday by substituting supplies.
Supply List
- Grapevine Wreath
- Ribbons of choice (I used four 2.5″ ribbons and four 1.5″ ribbons in the wreath and added a 4″ ribbon to the bow. Need help with bow making? Visit this blog post)
- Ladybug Sign
- Metal Ladybug (optional I got mine from Hobby Lobby)
Step By Step Tutorial
